Are there any Dems out there?
Is it me or is anyone else wondering why there aren't any democrats trying to be our next governor other than Jerry Brown? CLCV has endorsed a lot of possible contendors in the past. We have dozens of state and federal legislators who have good resumes of RECENT achievments regarding environmental policy. Many of them were mayor and worked on state boards overseeing infrastructure, air, water, etc.There are a lot of qualified people who could run. Is California stuck in a rut of only allowing the rich and famous to run for public office. I thought the Dems weren't disciplined, but they are showing a lot of discipline by not giving Brown a run for his money.C'mon somebody make Jerry earn this nomination!
